Liturgical Garments

St. George’s Cathedral has an extraordinary assortment of liturgical garments, also known as vestments.  Some are from the early 20th century; others are early 21st century.

Among the oldest liturgical garments is a cope belonging to Arthur Tindall Briarly Browne, Dean of he Cathedral, 1945-1964.  It is worn regularly.

In 2009 Bishop George Bruce ordered a chasuble and stole to match his own.
