Contemplative Celtic Service

The Contemplative Celtic service modelled on the Celtic philosophy of equality, inclusivity and importance of our connection with the natural world. It is an invitation to reflect on and contemplate God's presence in us and among us. The atmosphere created in this liturgy emphasizes a quietness and peace that the late afternoon with its fading light and soft glow of candle light provides. The centerpiece  of the liturgy is to gather round the table to encounter the Divine in whatever way is meaningful to us. The music for the service is provided by instrumentalists and the songs are drawn from the folk song tradition which is simple and evokes a quiet, contemplative mood.
