Choral Evensong in the Octave of All Souls

Give me the wings of faith to rise
Within the veil, and see
The saints above, how great their joys,
How bright their glories be.

On Saturday, November 8 at 3pm, all are invited to a service of Solemn Choral Evensong marking the Feast of All Souls (November 2). The service will be led by Ottawa's Caelis Academy Ensemble under the direction of Matthew Larkin, with organist Nathan Jeffery. 

Through liturgy, music, and word, we remember those who await the joy of being with God in Heaven. Music includes works by Basil Harwood, Kenneth Leighton, and Ralph Vaughan Williams.

Regularly scheduled Evensong offered by the Cathedral Choir continues in November as usual, on Wednesday, November 5 and Wednesday, November 19, both at 7pm.
