Summer Concert: The Harmony Lounge & Music Club
We are delighted to see the return of our Summer Concert Series this season! Bring a lawn chair and join us on the King Street lawn for uplifting music shared by local talent. These are a great way to spend a bit of time in the middle of a summer day; glorious music amidst gorgeous weather. The series continues on Saturday, July 12 at noon with a concert showcasing young performers from The Harmony Lounge & Music Club, an outreach program of The Church of St Mary Magdalene, Napanee.
About The Harmony Lounge & Music Club:
Harmony Lounge & Music Club is a not-for-profit community program of St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, serving youth aged 12 to 16 in Greater Napanee. We offer free group and private music lessons in a variety of instruments and provide meaningful leadership and mentorship opportunities to senior student musicians.
Our goal is to make music accessible, welcoming, and transformative. We support young musicians not only through lessons, but also by facilitating instrument loans, providing practice spaces, and encouraging drop-in time before and after classes. These opportunities help foster a safe and supportive community where students can connect, create, and grow.
Harmony is 100% funded by community generosity. Together, we’re helping young people make music a vibrant part of their lives—and building a stronger, more creative community in the process.
