From the Bishop of Ontario:

Dear Friends,

I would like to express the sympathies of the diocese to our Dean, the Very Revd Douglas Michael on the sudden death of his father. This occurred while his father was travelling in the U.K. Our prayers for the repose of the soul of Graham Michael are joined with our prayers for his wife, Margaret, and their three children Douglas, Roy and Debbie. Funeral arrangements are not yet made but will be published in due course.

O ALMIGHTY God, the God of the spirits of all flesh: Multiply, we beseech thee, to those who rest in Jesus, the manifold blessings of thy love, that the good work which thou didst begin in them may be perfected unto the day of Jesus Christ. And of thy mercy, O heavenly Father, grant that we, who now serve thee here on earth, may at the last, together with them, be partakers of the inheritance of the Saints in light; for the sake of the same thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

May Graham rest in peace and rise in glory.

Yours faithfully,

The Right Rev. William G. Cliff

As a Cathedral community, we hold the Dean and his family in our hearts and remember them in our prayers. He is travelling to the UK this week to be with his family and support his mother during this time.
