GATHER FOR WORSHIP

We worship together on Sunday's at 8am and 10:30am – and you are always welcome. This Spring, we have several special services coming up. Do join us in-person or online.

Choral Evensong in Ascensiontide | May 20 • 7pm

In the Octave of Ascensiontide, we gather for a service of sung Evening Prayer led by the Cathedral Choir. The choir sings music old and new, including Joanna Forbes L'Estrange's King's College Service and Ralph Vaughan Williams' O Clap Your Hands.

Holy Eucharist on the Day of Pentecost | May 24 • 8am & 10:30am

On the Day of Pentecost, we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and the establishment of the Church through the preaching of the apostles and the baptism of the thousands who on that day believed in the Gospel message. The day emphasizes that the Church is understood as the body of Christ, which is drawn together and given life by the Holy Spirit. The Rev. Claire Bramma preaches and the Cathedral Choir sings.

On this day, we also celebrate a decade of the Cathedral sponsoring Syrian refugee families. Scroll down to learn more about the celebration.

Choral Evensong with the Capella Regalis Choirs | May 27 • 7:00pm

Join us for a special service of Choral Evensong featuring the Capella Regalis Choirs of Men, Boys and Girls from Halifax, Nova Scotia. This sung service of evening prayer is the perfect opportunity to pause for prayer at the midpoint of the week and features favourites from the English choral tradition, including Paul Halley's terrific setting of  Jesu, the very thought of thee and Herbert Howells' St. Paul's Service.
